Our Story
Once upon a time, there was a mom named Oksana who had two wonderful boys, Peter and Thomas. Oksana loved her boys more than anything, but there was always a part of her that longed for a daughter. Her heart ached for the opportunity to shop for beautiful dresses and bond with her own little girl.
Oksana's longing only grew stronger when her best friend had a daughter named Delilah. From the moment Delilah was born, Oksana felt a special bond with her. She spent countless hours doting on her, buying her the most beautiful dresses and playing with her every chance she got. Oksana loved Delilah as if she were her own daughter.
One day, while out shopping for Delilah's birthday present, Oksana stumbled upon a beautiful dress store for girls. She couldn't resist peeking inside, and as soon as she did, she felt a rush of joy and excitement. The store was filled with the most beautiful dresses Oksana had ever seen, and she couldn't help but imagine how Delilah would look in them.
Suddenly, Oksana had an idea. She could have her own store of the most beautiful dresses for Delilah and other little girls she knew. It would be the perfect way to feel a little bit closer to having a daughter, and she could bring joy to other moms and their daughters.
With the support of Oksana’s friends (one of them is a co-founder), and her husband Jonathan, Oksana took a leap of faith and started designing dresses. She created each dress with care, making sure they were fit for a princess.
As Oksana watched sweet Delilah grow and thrive, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness seeing her outgrow the precious dresses she had gifted her. However, this inspired Oksana and her business partner to come up with a heartwarming idea: adding ties on the sides of the dresses so they could "grow with her," allowing her to continue to wear and enjoy them for even longer.
Oksana named her new venture "The Dress Kingdom", and it quickly became a favorite among moms and their little girls.
Oksana loves getting to know her customers, and it wasn't long before she started to feel like every girl who ordered a dress was her own daughter. She loves helping each girl find the perfect dress for their special occasion, and she made sure to celebrate with them when they found the one.
But Oksana's favorite part of "The Dress Kingdom" was shopping for Delilah. She loved being able to spoil her like a daughter, designing the most beautiful dresses for her and watching her twirl around in them with delight. Delilah was her INSPIRATION.
Oksana never did have a daughter of her own, but in Delilah, she found something even more special. She found a daughter in her heart, a little girl who brought her so much joy and love. And every time Oksana puts a new dress in a box to ship, she feels a sense of pride and fulfillment, knowing that she has created something truly special for all the moms and daughters.
